Marthella (Fields) Moore

Marthella Fields Moore, 86, of Evergreen, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House.

Marthella was born on May 13, 1939, daughter of the late Kinnon Fields and Ruth Ward Fields. She was the widow of Bobby Foster Moore, who preceded her in 2020. In addition, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sammy Fields, Winfield Fields, Raphael Fields, Strange Edward Fields, James K. Fields.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Boardman Baptist Church Cemetery. Bradley Moore will officiate. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Boardman Baptist Church Sanctuary.

Surviving family includes children, Lisa K. Moore Keely (Rusty) of Wilmington, and Bobby F. Moore, Jr. of Wilmington; three grandchildren, TJ Harrelson Enzor, Bradley Moore (Hannah), Aubrey Moore; two great-grandchildren, Logan Perry Enzor, Jacob Seth Enzor. 

The family would to thank Dr. Traylor and staff, Gentiva Home care staff, and “Nannie’s favorites” Nieasha and Erivonna McLeod and Adrain Bullock for the loving care shown over the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boardman Baptist Church- 2040 Old Boardman Rd Evergreen NC 28438.
