Stinson Williamson

Stinson Williamson, 82 of Boardman went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Boardman Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery; Pastor Rodney Evers will officiate.

The visitation will be from 1:30 p.m.-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday, at the church. 

Stinson retired from the NC Department of Motor Vehicles in 1998, where he worked as an inspector. He was a faithful member of Boardman Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. 

Stinson was the son of the late Kathleen Williamson Inman, and his step-father, Dolan Inman.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Raeford Inman.

Stinson is survived by his wife, Shirley Cheshire Williamson; a daughter, Melissa S. Williamson of the home; siblings, Georgia Inman Cox (Robert Earl) of Fairmont, Drena Inman Wilkerson of Boardman, Minnie Inman Turbeville of Boardman, Shearldean Faulk of Orrum; host of loving nieces and nephews; a special great-niece Avery Wilkerson (Baby Kate). 

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Boardman Baptist Church- 2493 Old Boardman Road, Evergreen, NC 28438.
